On Sunday we had our last swap of 2011 and we decided to make it a potluck so that everyone could mingle a bit longer after swapping. Thanks again to Lindsey, The Goat Cheese Lady, and husband Herbert for hosting us! I can't think of a more wonderful location for our last swap.
It's been almost a year since our first swap and I'm amazed with how much Pikes Peak Community Cupboard has grown. It's wonderful to see new people each time and to see regulars who are now friends. Thank you all so much again for being so enthusiastic and supportive of this community event! It could not have been as successful and fun as it is without all of you. It's been a real treat to get to know you all through Facebook, Twitter and email too. I look forward to keeping in touch, even if we'll be taking a break! Thanks, of course, to Wendy for helping me spread the word about our events.
